Naked vacuuming

Yesterday when I got out of the shower after a sweaty trip to the gym, I decided to do the vacuuming naked.

Not a skerrick of clothing. Just me and the hoover.

Now before you go all kinky on me, it wasn't that kind of vacuuming! Geez.

It was a regular housewife job, just done completely against the rules, on my own terms.

It was most definitely liberating! And fun too.

And yes, I did feel a little naughty, in a fun kind of way.

And it's this kind of experience I want more of for 2008. Not necessarily nude escapades, but that sense of fun, freedom, and doing things on my own terms, just for me, because I can.

This is the kind of thing I've been learning at Jeannette Maw's Money Vibe class. Whatever you think money will bring you - the feeling it will bring you - then access that feeling now - in whatever way you can. This is how you get in vibrational resonance with whatever it is you desire - feel the feelings now.

Money means freedom, independence, and fun to me. So how do I get that feeling now?

Yup - naked vacuuming. That's the first thing that came up.

This morning 'freedom' felt like surfing on Facebook before working and listening to Loreena McKinnet - something I have not 'allowed' myself to do for months.

And you know what's even more cool?

I did not need any money at all to access those feelings now. They're there, I just need to choose them, now, in the present moment.

This is how I start to allow the money experience in my life. Feeling good now, feeling good later. Feeling good, period! Money is just not part of the equation this way, is it? It all just comes down to focus, now, in the moment.

So fun, freedom, connection...what other ways can I bring this in to my life now?

Read Runner's World, bake some cookies, phone a friend, go for coffee on my own, browse in a bookstore...hmmm..this is fun!

  1. What?! No photo, Zoe?! Come ON!!! ha ha

Your post is making me laugh out loud! I love it!!

You're showing not just how easy it is to create vibrational alignment with what we want, but how to have fun doing it, too!!

Fun and Easy! Why not, huh?!

Zoe, you're my hero. I'm jealous of every person who gets the benefit of learning from you in person at your next workshop. I wish I could be there!

(Maybe you'll do a teleseminar gig sometime and let the rest of us join in your fun?)

  3. Hi Jeannette - yup, vacuuming in the nude is great - highly recommended. And no, don't expect any of my own photos recording the process!

Also - I AM offering a teleclass in Feb- check it out here: http://www.innercompass.com.au/content/view/193

Drew - I had no idea that vacuuming in the nude was a venture in to kinky land until I googled 'naked vacuuming' looking for an image for this post. My modest eyes were fairly burned out of their sockets and my jaw dropped to my knees. I would not recommend it - sometimes imagination is more fun than graphic explanations ;)

  4. I did not see Zoe's post on the blog but let's just say I got a wind of it.

Hey not only will it fix a person's money vibe (you know feeling good and free) but it may also fix a person's body image vibe and help get a person into great shape.

I don't know what other uses there are for a vacuum cleaner other than cleaning floors, and would probably have a laugh if I did find out, but that would also be TMI (too much information).

If people got to vacuum in the nude, many may suddenly take to vacuuming. :)

  5. Sugandhi - I can see the headlines now:
"New sport brings cleanliness to a new level"
"Facebook group launched to promote the health benefits of nudity and appliances"
"Homes cleaner, bodies firmer: the new fitness rage - you gotta do the hoover ab workout!"

    :)
