I love this photo! It's a classic example of self-righteousness and laziness all rolled in to one.
How often have you said, "It's not my job", or "It's not my fault", or "It's not fair", or "I'm not getting paid enough to do this", or "This is not what I signed up for", and so on.
Yup, me too. Been there too.
It is so much easier to blame someone else when things go wrong. Or to take the easy way out, like the guy driving the line-maker machine did.
The thing is, when you are a conscious entrepreneur, if you are truly going to be successful, then you know the paradox of freedom and responsibility.
Being the boss means total freedom - you get to make the decisions, you get to decide the direction, what's going to happen and where.
You also know that when the poop hits the fan, you're the one who's going to need the shower.
That's the amazing thing about awareness and being a conscious business owner - you realise:
"Everything that happens in my life is my responsibility."
At first this can hit you like a sack of potatoes.
Holy guacamole, I'm responsible for everything?
Yes, everything.
And that's when it dawns on you...
"I am responsible for everything...
I can create and attract anything! "
I can create and attract anything! "
Including that Maserati, that trip around the world, the beach house, the outrageously fit body, the bulging bank account...
And your sense of freedom and power is born.
You can't have one without the other - freedom AND responsibility.
Hmmmm...kinda makes you think twice about cutting corners!
What are you doing that you could take more responsibility for and change?
Here's to a life that rocks!
