Things that make you go hmmm...

You get a lot of time to think on an overseas flight. Here are some things that bubbled up - some deep, some amusing, some that just make you go 'hmmm'...

Why do the simplest things bring out the most nostalgic feelings? I wept at the sight of a squirrel yesterday. Who knew rodents could make you feel homesick?

Why is it that the smell of a land defines it - the dusty, textured, ancient winds of India, the salty spray of Australian ocean breezes, the green earthy air of North America?

Why do comedy movies always make you cry?

How did I manifest 24 hours of travelling in the middle seat sandwiched between the food gobbler and the fidgeter?

How can Americans land a ship on the moon but can't organise an airport?

Why does my husband seem even cuter when I am away?

Why do they call an action retreat place for vacationers a 'dude ranch'?

Why do some choose leadership and others don't? Do we need more leaders or better leaders?

From a law of attraction point of view, are charities helping to perpetuate the problem by focusing on it, by needing to have a purpose? If there was no poverty, what would charities do instead?

If people management was easier, how much more might be accomplished by organisations?

What might change if instead of 'fighting cancer' we focused on clean living and health?

What questions are on YOUR mind? If you've got one you'd like to share I'd love to hear it. Likewise, if you've got answers to my questions, drop me a note!
