Manifesting cheques in the mail

I am having some more fun this week with manifesting! Like I've said before, it's not about the end result but the process, and that process has gotta be fun.

If you've seen the Secret, you'll remember the Aussie businessman who talks about how he started receiving cheques in the mail after he was visualising and feeling positive about turning his business around? Well if you're like me you probably thought, "yeah sure". In fact, I was watching with a friend of mine who said just that: "Yeah sure. That's going to work for him - he's a stock broker! How am I going to manifest cheques in the mail when I am just a housewife?"

My friend's negative attitude and despairing response was never going to help her that's for sure, but I kind of agreed with her. I'm not a stock broker, how am I going to get cheques arriving in the mail?

Fear not, fretful friends! Yesterday it happened to me. I got an unexpected cheque for $108 US in the mail. First of all, let's clear up all the magic hocus pocus aspect of this story. It is not as simple as snapping your fingers, or simply focusing on money appearing and voila! There is a little more to it.

First of all, I have been clearing up as much of money vibe as I am aware of with things like EFT, processes learned from a seminar with Michael Domeyko-Rowland, and my immersion in the Wealth Beyond Reason program amongst many many other books and resources. I feel wealthy every day, amazed and grateful for the prosperity and wealth that flows in my life. I feel blessed. It is a very cool way to live.

Second of all, I set up the structures to allow money to flow in my life. I have a website and a couple of blogs. I sell ebooks on my experiences with cancer, one called Absolute Productivity and one called Maximise Your Money Mojo. I use Clickbank as the merchant for these books where other people can sign up as affiliates and sell them too.

The 'surprise' cheque I received was from Clickbank when the limit for books sales triggered a payment to me. I simply hadn't noticed that sales were edging up to the threshold again. The cheque appeared as if by magic because my awareness was not on cheques arriving, but on appreciating my life in the here and now.

Here is what I've learned from the experience:

1. You've got to have the good money vibe and beliefs to allow such prosperity to flow in your life. Otherwise you are just fighting against yourself and the process. And that feels really yucky.

2. You've got to have the processes and structures in place to allow money to flow. Cheques are never going to appear unless you are in a system that allows cheques to be processed! This part is about effort, a good kind of effort, where you share your passion and knowledge with the world. Notice I am not selling stockbroking tips! I am selling my passion: personal development strategies that work. And people pay money in appreciation of my knowledge and experience and what they can learn and apply from me. It's a win-win that feels awesome.
