Leadership is essentially using influence with others for the greater good.
Where most leadership training programs focus is helping their participants hone their skills in the first part - the 'influencing others' part. Many find this extremely challenging. And it is.
However, it is the 'for the greater good' aspect that is the real hurdle.
What is the greater good? Is it for the greater number of people? If so, then there is a huge argument for things like unrestricted industrial growth and slavery - after all, it will serve the greater good of many, many people.
You know as well as I do that that kind of argument is too black and white - whereas such decisions may serve the greatest number of people in the short term, the far reaching impacts are massive.
So how do you decide what is the greater good?
By filtering through the many shades of grey.
In the end, making a choice that resonates with your core integrity is always the best decision.
So how does this relate to law of Attraction?
Leadership decisions are as much based on intuition - your inner vibration - as anything else.
Are you paying attention to your intuition?
I'd love to hear your thoughts.

right. I totally agree with you. so true.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I Co-founded a Shamanic Healing Arts Center. When I had a "surprise" pregnancy - LOA in action - tee hee! I felt I really needed to do things for me for a while.
ReplyDeleteI felt so guilty at the time. I felt like I was leaving people and being selfish.
In the end, after I moved out of state, said "no" to a zillion things so that I could do what felt right for me and me alone...
...that was when people started contacting me and telling me what an inspiration I was to them and how me living my life in this way was giving them the courage to live theirs.
So while I thought I was being selfish I discovered that making decisions that were in truly alignment with me - no matter what I thought that meant to the outside world - is what turned me into a real leader.
:)
Thanks great blog postt
