Need an excuse to feel good?

When I attended Ali Brown's Online Success Workshop last year, she had us do this exercise where we wrote down all the things we did as kids that made us light up like a Christmas tree. Or anything since that really felt like a special treat and something fun to do for ourselves.

It got me really thinking about what excuse do I need to feel good?

I don't need a special occasion, or a celebration, or some goal to be achieved - the time to enjoy life is now.

So on my Manifestation Map, I wrote down that I wanted to go to the theatre and do some bellydancing again. While I wrote it, I paused to really feel the joy and pleasure of those two
activities - the buzz of seeing a live show, and the pure sensuality of music and movement in the dance (plus the bling of jingly bells and sequins turns me on too!)

Then I put my Map aside and got on with my life. This is all about detachment and letting go.

Old school coaching would have me pick a deadline, make a plan, create an accountability structure, and take action.

Ugh! Hard work! I'm totally for it being easier and way more fun.

I know my job is simply to look after my vibe.

So what happened?

I got invited my mother-in-law to go see an ABBA tribute - which incidentally rocked the house! Plus my friend Roger got free tickets to see a local production of Pink Panther. And then
yesterday my gym hosted a free intro bellydancing class!

A few years ago when I had longer hair - and many more sequins!

Two out of those opportunities were completely free by the way. Talk about an abundant universe!

So here's my Big Tip of the week:

Write what you want down, really fantasise and feel it happening, and then forget about it, but keep it on your radar with a knowing expectation. Expect to be surprised in amazing ways!

Best wishes,

Zoe
