Booty Bootcamp Reflections

Hmmm... it did not occur to me that talking about my butt on Youtube and the internet might make me a tad self-conscious! LOL

Actually, I feel great about it. and that's really the first key in handling any intention - is to feel great about it. If you come from a place of resentment, worry, stress, fear, doubt - then you'll just get more of the same.
So having fun and being ok with it all is good vibe to stat this 6 weeks off with anyway.

it also helps that I ran my first half marathon in years yesterday and came u [trumps! A good time, no walk breaks, and only a little stiffness. For this I am grateful to my butt and my legs for doing such a good job. Thanks guys!

My intentions: to slip in to a little red dress at the end of the six weeks.

Yours?
Zoe

Are these thoughts making you FAT?

If you are like every other neurotic woman, no matter what their size or shape, then you probably obsess about some part of your anatomy. Either it is too big, too lumpy, too red, too dark, too hairy, too uneven.

Guess what girls - if you think about it you'll only make it worse.

That's right your thoughts could be making you FAT.

The law of Attraction tells us that we create what we think about most. If we are constantly thinking about how big our butt is, I swear that no matter what you do or eat, that butt is always going to be big.

What's a girl to do? If you've had a lifetime of butt-obsessing, then it is a challenge to switch thoughts.

Here are some practical tips for you:

Decide the END RESULT you want. Do NOT pick 'losing weight' as a desire. This will only create you as someone who is constantly wanting to lose weight. i.e. a fat person trying to get thin. Focus instead on what you REALLY want: to be thin, fit, healthy, active, joyous.

Next, think and act like that thin person. How do you know hat to think or do? If you don't know how a thin person thinks or behaves or what they eat, then do some research. Interview some people who are thin and get their secrets. This does not mean reading welght loss stories - remember you want to skip the part about being a fat person losing weight and go straight to being the thin person. Read about people who are already fit and thin and read about what they have done to maintain this body shape and lifestyle. Then copy them.

Here are some tips from thin and healthy people:

Love your body. Be grateful for it - it allows you to experience the majesty of the planet and all the wonderful things that come with being human.

Think of yourself as the size and shape of the body you desire. See and feel yourself as this shape, see yourself in the clothes you wear in this shape. Practise visualisation and feeling good about this body.

Eat and exercise like the fit thin person does.

Your body is not who you ARE; your body is who you WERE. We are constantly living in the residual of what we were thinking and feeling and doing in the past. Think about it - you don't eat a piece of cake and then instantly get a lump of cellulite. Nor do you do one workout and then drop a dress size. This is why you can pig out over the holidays and not really notice the effects until you are back at work. All of a sudden you feel like you've gained weight - this is the time effect residual manifesting the results of your thoughts and feelings from the previous few weeks - not the ones of the last say or so.

I reckon it takes about 3 weeks of effort before the person you start thinking and behaving like actually shows up in your life.

This is such a liberating process - if you get in to the thought and feeling place of a thin person, you can enjoy all the benefits of confidence that come with it. Your body will follow your thoughts, feelings, and actions through a natural response. It has to - it has no choice.
